Materials: Paper Bag and an assortment of items. Suggested items are listed below.
goggly eyes, pipe cleaners, beads, streamers, clothes pins, notecards, coffee stirrers, foam shapes, straws, pebbles, yarn, small paper cup, string, squares of construction paper, ping pong balls,
popsicle sticks, rubber bands, Pom pons, paint stirrer stick, cotton ball, cotton swab, paper clips, eraser, feathers, stickers
DIRECTIONS: Inside this bag you will find a variety of items. Please create something using as many of these items as you can. You may use 3 items from your home in addition to those in the bag. You may even use the bag! You may use glue, tape, scissors, crayons or markers as tools to construct and decorate but they may only be added to your creation if they are part of your 3 additional items. Bring your completed item on the first day of school. Bring it in the bag, or if you use the bag or it does not fit in the bag, bring it in another bag so your creation will be hidden until it is time to reveal. Give your creation a name and write it on the outside of the bag. Think about one or two things you can say about it to the class. We will share these during our first week of school.
